Shell LiveWire International works to promote the spirit of enterprise in young people around the world. Working through local enterprise development organizations and partnerships with schools, universities, governments, other corporations and community programmes, LiveWIRE delivers practical support to those people as they develop skills needed to plan, launch and manager new business enterprises.

Developed over the last 20 years by Shell in the UK, over 4 million people have been in conact with a LiveWIRE programme. LiveWIRE has helped young people around 35 years of age and below as they consider starting their own businesses, as well as motivating many successful young entrepreneurs through its prestigious start-up awards.

Proven in the UK to deliver sustainable businesses and employment opportunities, a flexible framework has been developed allowing for its application in new regions. Working with local and national governments, LiveWIRE facilities the generation of employment opportunities whilst encouraging economic diversification in terms of business type and size.
